I was very, very nervous reading your story because I have four Yorkies too. I don't know how you managed - it must have been an ordeal with no one to help you.

Even if that Mastiff is gentle, he can still shake a little dog to death, even "playing". At the very least they are responsible for your Vet bills and a huge apology. It sickens me that the police said there is nothing they can do. How about paying a visit to the people who own the Mastiff for starters?
