Both of mine have small, pointy ears that stood up all by themselves with no help from me.
However, the pictures I've seen of Yorkies with floppy ears are oh-so-cute!!! Between their diminutive size and floppy ears, they look like perpetual puppies. And that *can't* be a bad thing now, can it?
I have no intention of either showing or breeding them, so what they look like to other folk has no meaning to me (MY dogs are the best looking doggies in the whole wide world! Just ask me - I'll tell you
)
