I was able to rehome 3 adults with me, the experience was great. I spent about 3 hours with the lady that had to let them go (medical reasons) They did not take more then a week to adapt. The one was a lover right from the start and the other 2 got over being shy withing a few days. She sent home a shirt of hers and their beds and blankets with toys, I did not was them for a few weeks just to keep the scent of their first owner and home. I spent a lot of time with her and the yorkies with a lot of questions and interaction, I was able to stick with the routine (sp) that they were used to and she let me know a lot about each of their personalities. For me it was a great experience. I also had all of their vet records so I know that they had been taken care of. I really felt bad when I was leaving because we were all crying.
