Aggression after Spay My Moka was spayed on Tuesday. Thursday she started showing aggression towards my baby Mylee, and today the aggression is escalating. It is not just a growl but a full blown aggressive stance, growl and charge, and she shivers in anger. Before the spay the two were buds and slept on blankets curled up together. Mylee is obviously confused by this new behavior and does not understand and that alone is making it worse because she is curious about it, so I have now separated them. Is this horomonal and will it pass? I do not know how to handle Moka when she is being this way because I really think she may bite anybody who tries to approach her when she is acting like this. It is that serious! I know she is not feeling well yet, and I do not expect her to be back to normal by any means yet. She was always very very submissive before her surgery so I too am confused by this. Any advice is welcome.
