Default Thinks bells are a toy

I am trying to teach Lexie to do this, and she has definitly learned that ringing the bell means she gets to go outside, but if she could have it her way she would live outside, so she rings them all the time! To top it off, when she does want to be inside she thinks they are a toy and will continually try and attack them. Its very cute, but not really practical for bell training to tell me when she has to potty.

I am not sure how to teach her to only ring them when she has to go potty, so that I don't have to be opening the door every five minutes. ha I have been going with her every time she goes out now so that as soon as she pottys I call her back in. I still don't think she is getting it though.

Any one have any ideas on how to teach your yorkie that the bells are not a toy, and they should only be for when she needs to potty!?
