Maybe try calling the vet first, describe what happened over the phone, and ask whether it is anything worth bringing her over for?

My vet never charges for this type of thing, and will let me know whether to bring my yorkie in or not for a check up.

Your description reminded me of cat's hairball for some reason. Hopefully it is nothing to series, but I would definately recommend that you give your vet a quick call just to be sure.
