After the shock of him actually having it in his mouth had worn off I was proud that he at least knew mice were a prey item. Watching both of them paste themselves to the door watching me remove it was really funny too. Unfortunately we have quite a few pidgeon keepers around here who regularly put bait down, so it had to be taken away. If he'd got inside it could have been a three way battle between two yorkies and a cat over who got the prize.
It was more of a surprise as when we took them to pets at home before x-mas there were dagoos in a glass fronted pen at floor level and they didn't know whether to run away or hunt them.
Hope one never gets into the house though, it could be pandamonium.
