I bought my yorkie at a pet store. I was not educated about the risks. Don't think we have puppy mills here in manila either. I was looking for a breeder online but came across all these scammers. So we ended up looking at yorkies at the pet store and found one that was cheaper than the normal price here. I thought I had found a bargain, boy was I wrong. The first day at home he started pooping blood. Luckily we cought it early, he had the parvo virus. After a few trips to the vet they discovered he had ringworms, then later earmites! Thank God he's healthy and ok now. I will never buy a dog from a pet store again, I learned my lesson. Next time will be from a breeder.
