Hi! At the top of this training forum, there is a "sticky" post about potty training.

My 1-year old boy is paper trained. although we go outside a lot too. Is your little guy peeing on the paper consistently? For poops, try to anticipate his need to do it and take him to the paper (about 30 minutes after a meal and some exercise). Limit his freedom in your home so that you can keep an eye on him and his activity. You can start with an x-pen or a single room. When he does things correctly, you can increase his roaming space.

Also, when he does things correctly, praise him and give him a treat.
