Our vet exams are $48.70 and everything else is extra. Then they refer you to specialists who charge $125 - $150 just for the exam.
There is a clinic in the area that offers shots are a much lower cost and no vet fee, but they only do shots. So if your baby needs a dental you have to go to a vet....hope that makes sense.
It's amazing how much the costs have jumped in the last 10 years. My daughter wants to become a doctor so I keep trying to talk her into becoming a vet
