angel eyes has tylan powder in it and it is the lowest dose antibiotic for ibd, colitis etc so if you use this and your dog gets this your dog may be immune to it when you need it as just like humans dogs can get immune to antibiotics. IBD, colitis, and gi upsets are very common in this breed and metronidazole is a higher dose than tylan powder and metronidazole does not have an anti-inflammatory agent like tylan does so always best to start with tylan if you can get it compounded

but i use this and much safer than using an antibiotic.
Tylan is a lower dose than metronidazole and it is used in chickens mostly - has a bitter taste and i was instructed to wear gloves when making capsules as affects human membranes
