It is an oral antibiotic given after dental procedures and for abscesses, etc. From what I read about the potential side affects, I would see if there isn't another antibiotic your vet could/would prescribe. IDK, could be that others here have some experience with this drug, and it's okay. I would ask your vet though about it's safety.
