Whatever you do, good luck. Yorkies do require tons of patience and plenty of time to properly train them. Many people make the mistake of believing that because they are so small that they don't require exercise. They are terriers and while to me that is what makes them so much fun it is also what makes them more difficult to train unless you have the experience to do it as well as the patience.
Very good post and I will add if you care about him in the smallest amount the best thing you can do is turn him over to rescue to find the perfect home for him. There is no shame in doing this, only shame if you keep the dog because people make you feel guilty. These are terriers and can be a handful and they are not always the best dogs to have around children. His biting could escalade and really hurt your daughter so please do what is right for him and let the rescue work on finding him the perfect home. They is still time that he can be turned around with a great deal of time and dedication by people who understand how to do this.
