Buddy came from far away (Hungary)
Who'd ever guess, we'd meet one day
He looked so sad, huddled in a crate
It broke my heart, not to know his fate
Boy was he big, compared to the rest
But in my mind, he was the best
I wanted a girl but he was a boy
Who's cares anymore, I decided with joy
So home we went and settled in
Our life is good, so we both did win
Today he's 6, this big boy of mine
And in my eyes, he continues to shine
