I would not allow him to bite your daughter or growl at her.. but tearing things up is pretty terrier like, some people on here say thier dogs cant have a toy for more then a few minutes or it is destroyed. They love to dig and tear up toys... beds too, Make sure you are giving him lots and lots of excersise, have your daughter walk him when she gets home from school..so they can bond. I dont think he is a " bad" behaved dog , just a puppy trying to figure out who is Boss/alpha... Yorkies do want all your attention, they love to be with you , on your lap in your bed etc.... If you really feel like you cant keep him please contact yorkiesinc. They find a loving home and if you feel he needs other dogs, they can find a home like that too!
