There is a post earlier in this thread by "Cookie". Her dog has been missing since November. Following are the things she has done so far in her search:
Your sister needs to contact every vet and groomer in the area and give them a flyer with his picture and description, if the dog is microchipped..call the company, post on craig's list, kiiji, etc, make BIG laminated signs with REWARD and post everywhere, call animal control..and knock door to door in her neighborhood, ask children in the area to keep their eyes out
