Please don't give up on him so fast. He's still a baby (puppy) and you have many more stages to go through, and that would be with ANY puppy.

I would recommend a private trainer that could come to your house and teach you how to train him in his own environment. I also recommend that you do some research on bad behavior problems with patience. Petco trainers ARE NOT experts and should not be taken seriously! It is a chain pet supply store...period! You should also consider the habits that you have allowed him to develop and be patient with trying to correct him.

I'm not trying to put you down, so please don't get offended. But puppies are like children and they only do what you let them get away with, and in time all gets worst because you are now showing him that he is getting on your nerves and he wants your attention. Yes that is a sign of a spoiled brat, but YOU are the one who spoiled him, so YOU are the one who will have to help correct his behavior. Getting rid of him because he's being brat is not the answer. You'll regret it later if you do, when you realize you could have done more to help him. His snapping at your daughter and trying to hord you, is a sure sign that he needs your help Mommy.
