Hi,
I am so glad to hear that your Livi is ok. Things like that are so scary . . . and now your work has just begun with the puppies. I would imagine that they are going to tell you tomorrow that she cannot nurse her puppies. If so, my one tip would be to make sure you have a very good scale and start weighing them 3-4 times a day. A gram scale works well. Keep a journal with the weights. Also record the exact amount each puppy eats and the time of the feeding. This will make it easier for you to make adjustments. There are some great small animal nipples made for feeding wildlife. I just did a quick google search and found this link. I am sure there are many more, and you can sometimes find things like this at a farmer's supply or feed store.
Squirrel and animal feeding nipples
These will fit on the end of a syringe and I think they work better than nipples made for human infants/premies. I have had great luck with goat's milk from the grocery store in situations like this.
I hope this helps you a little. Sleep whenever you can! You will need it.
Best wishes!
