It happens quite often, that after someone pays a compliment to Rio, the next question is "How much did you pay for her?" I get nervous when people look at her and just see $$$$$ and I usually lie and say I got her free as a gift. I've only told 2 strangers the truth and that was only because they were with their own sweet little furbabies and had chatted about their own experiences first. After reading the thread by pawever Yorkie with her little Mini almost stolen before her eyes, I'm even more fearful now. I am usually very cautious if I'm walking Rio alone, but now I think I will wait until my DH can walk with us. I'm just so scared - Rio is our baby, our love of our life.
