First off, I just wanted to say your choice of smiley's was very funny to me. The title "Maya eating her poop" then a smiley with his tongue sticking out looking like "oh delicious!" LOL

Anyway, like Cesar says, I have also heard Victoria say. The dog is lacking something in the diet. Could also be they are eating too fast, causing the body not to digest it properly, so it comes out the other end still smelling like food (to them). B/c the body is not digesting properly, whatever that nutrient is, that is what they are lacking. Of course, there is no way for you to really know exactly what it is. Victoria suggested feeding slowly, a few kibbles at a time.

I would also suggest a better quality food. Royal Canin is just ok. and it's expensive. I feed Wellness and Uni loves it. I had her on RC before and she was just kind of ho hum about it. Wellness is cheaper in price but higher quality.
