I agree with others here, call your local animal control and report that dog! As for that so called Officer of the Law, call his Chief or Sheriff and complain, if that doesn't work call your city manager's office or the local paper / news. See what they say then with the news media asking them questions!!!

I'm just shaking after reading your post. I feel absolutely terrible for you. Someone posted before about carrying some kind of dog pepper spray. It's stories like these that make me think that I should be carrying the spray just in case. That dog could have started to attack you and then what would have happened to your babies?!!! This is just unimaginable and I am so relieved to hear that someone was watching over you today. One question is, if anyone knows this,...do we have the legal right to spray a dog that is attacking us or our babies? Hugs to you and the four dolls. I hope they have forgotten what happened today and are resting/playing with each other.
