I am so glad that all turned out okay. I don't like it when people do not responsibly take care of their dogs. You can never know what will happen.
I agree, I get anxious when I see other dogs (stranger dogs) with my 2 and I will pick them up, regardless of what the owner says. I hope your babies are calm now and do not have long lasting bad memories of this.
