Even dog trainers don't recommend electric fences , the problem is , is that the pain of the shock from exiting the yard outways thier desire to come home . NOT only that but the collars they need to wear are really not yorkie sized and they would have to wear them constantly.. Id buy a gate of some sort to block off your front and rear door to prevent them from escaping!
