I don't have much time to post now, but I can tell you my Lola had LS surgery to repair her shunt at UT last March. She also had the scintigraphy, was spayed and had her baby teeth pulled at the same time. The problem having the scintigraphy done elsewhere is that you do have to put them to sleep and if they indeed do have a shunt, you may run into problems if that facility is not prepared and accustomed to LS babies. It was comforting to go to a place (UT) that does these over and over each day with such tiny babies. Lola is doing wonderful, she also had MVD, but is like a different dog now that we repaired her shunt. UT definitely saved Lola's life! |
