I will never forget when I was a little girl and found a 5 week old kitten that was dragging a leg (I was 5 myself) and took it to my Dad who did not like cats and asked for help. He said okay we will take care of this little kitty but once he is healthy again then we will find the perfect home for him....of course you know the ending to this story...WE were the perfect home for this wonderful little 3 legged cat (you can imagine the medical bills) all paid for by my Dad who didn't really care for cats. What a wonderful lesson my father taught me about loving all of God's creatures.
