Hi and welcome . I do agree w/ ladyjane.

Some of the reasons you want to get to a vet asap is bc you've described scabs / bumps all over. Again, this is going to sound vague - but this could be SO many things! It needs to be seen. If this is pyoderma or fungal - you'll need a prescription - you can't treat it yourself.

To diagnose this, a vet would probably first do a skin scraping and look immediately under scope (looking for bacteria) - it would then also be a good idea to grow a sample out in culture to check for fungal infection (takes 10-14 days).

Skin is an elimination organ, so skin issues - esp. scabs all over - are no small matter. It is a sign that something could be very wrong, and needs to be diagnosed and treated by a vet. Please keep us posted!
