I had to get a coupler for Wrigley & Camden for reasons similar to what you described. I really didn't think it would work and they would try and kill each other!
It takes some time, but it works now!
Wrigley likes to keep moving, so Camden pretty much has to follow her lead, but they were always twisted, pulling and almost tripping me at every turn before!
