I am so sorry to hear about your little girl, and hope your heart will soon heal.
Please don't rush into getting another dog for a while.
Save up some money so that you have savings in the bank if you need the vet any time. Also make sure you can put enough away to take out pet insurance as well, as this will help pay unexpected bills.
