I'm losing my 12 year old Yorkie 1 day at a time, she has scabs all over her, nobody seams to be able to tell us whats wrong, the vets don't know, we have switched food thinking allergies, we have had antibiotics, we have used many different shampoos, oinments, but the scabs keep multiplying, shes losing weight, no energy, she is still eating good, I would like to see if someone in South Florida knows of a vet school where many people can look at her and possibly somebody might find an answer before shes gone.

This happened to Hunter and we took him to a holistic vet. We also took him 100% off dog food and fed him rice and chicken and veggies. He also had to have a shot every couple days for about a month or two. I'm not sure what the shot was though. He also had special shampoo. It took months but all his hair grew back and he gained weight. He was about 12 also when this happened. Hope this helps a little. My advise is to talk to a holistic vet. This is what saved Hunter.
