Perhaps you could suggest to your friend that she might consider surrendering both of her Yorkies to a breed specific rescue group such as Yorkshire Terrier National Rescue (yorkierescue.com). That way her Yorkies can be safely placed with a YTNR Foster Momma first and then, carefully screened for adoption.
If these two are a bonded pair, she can request that they be adopted together also. We have an adorable pair right now on our website, "Lucy & Ricky" who will only be placed for adoption as a pair. |
