My girls first BAT was Pre: 43 and Post: 100.9
After seeing a specialist, doing more blood work, more BATs and her history and lack of "major" shunt symptoms, her Vet and Specialist feel she has MVD. No surgery is needed and no further testing. We maintain her with a special diet, and supplements and special precautions during Vet visits, etc...

Your baby may very well have a shunt, but I think you need to breath, do alittle research online about Liver Shunts, MVD, and all the testing involved, so that when you go to a specialist, you can be on the same page, and not waste time and money
i agree with retesting in 30 days after low protein diet and I recommend having test done by dr jean dodds at Hemopet/Hemolife, HEMOPET a full animal blood bank, Diagnostic Laboratory, Adoption and Consultation - she is not that far from you and she knows how to properly do this test as i had her do the 3rd one for my dd and it came back at 26 post so I would do the test one more time with jean after 12 hr fast and have her do cbc panel and pre and post 2hrs later then if still over 100 i would then do scintigraphy - the gall bladder can contract during blood draw thus showing higher numbers sometimes. Did they do cbc already and if so was ALT high?
