 Why does my pup whimper hiding cookies?
Hey, you guys who have been through a litter or two and watched the young ones - do puppies generally whimper when they're hiding a cookie? My single near 6 mo old does this - ONLY when he's hiding a cookie, and I don't understand the meaning. I'm certain it is not a play gesture, he will try several spots and usually is only satisfied after he has found a place for it in another room. He lets off some baby soft whimpers while he's looking for a spot. Is it a way to make littermates feel sorry for him and leave him alone or something? Does somebody know? |
