Ever since my last post he's been pooping on his pee pee pads which is great but he misses the pee pee pad when he pees. Sometimes he just picks a spot and pees there. Sometimes they're the same spot so I spray it with odor, stain, and urine remover then spray it again with carpet odor eliminator specifically for pets. But sometimes he still does it on the same spot!
As for crate training, he hates it! He cries all night long and finds ways to get himself out of it. He sleeps with me now which I don't mind but every puppy book I read says that it's bad and that I'm not teaching him who's boss. yada yada. i mean,,, he's 2.5 pounds. When I wake up in the morning, he's already awake and has peed and pooped on his pad. Sometimes he misses the pad but 90 % of the time, he does it right.
Sorry this is so long. i just have one more question.. is it okay for me to train him without a crate? Any advice will be appreciated! thank you
