I have done this to Daisy before and Daisy is almost 6 years old. I think it is like us if there is plaque and we don't get it out from under the gums they can bleed a lil. I
I kinda blame myself bc I was slacking in the brushing dept. for a while and that is when it happend. so now I am better at it. I also give her those white bones at pet smart to chew on every once in a while. She also loves this bone I bought at
pet smartNylabone Puppy Stix Flexible Chew - Toys - Dog - PetSmart
I had originally bought one for Pixie and Daisy stole it. It has helped Daisy's teeth. I just have to take it away if it gets a lil chewd up.
