Lady has had HGE three times. It has always been an emergency situation, one that can be fatal if not treated immediately. Supportive care, mainly IV fluids, is the standard treatment. Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis (HGE)
I'm frankly confused how a vet could make a diagnosis of HGE with only a picture of diarrhea that had subsided and three day old bloodwork. |
