I've received the same header after I've not posted in a few weeks. I always thought it was an automated thing and never took it personally. If I had something to post I did....if not, I didn't. I've read where others have had the approval box appear and thought it was a safeguard against spammers and such.
I'm glad you've found the information you looked for and that you've made some friends through YT. Please don't let these things you're upset about discourage you from being a part of YT.
