OMG, I am so sorry, that is why I stand by the door when my gang is out, and they are much bigger, but we do have birds of pray in my neck of the woods and you can never be too careful. My son came home yesterday with a similar story, a little 5 pound yorkie wonder into the neighbors yard and was brutally attack by the dog in the yard. He did not make it, his wounds were too severe and the owners asked for him to be put to sleep.
