Are male yorkies impossible to train 100%?
Any suggestions?
I would suggest you leash walk him rather than let him out in the front yard on his own. He is not "getting" what he is out there for. If you are walking him, you will be able to praise him when he piddles! Consistent, positive training works best.

As for piddle pads and rugs....I really do not know how to get them to know the difference. That is the one drawback to piddle pads. If someone has an idea about that, I would love to hear it. I have given up on leaving throw rugs down on my floors.

There is a product that I have used that I think is much better than Nature's Miracle. Eco-88 and you can find it on the web. I used to use it when I had carpet. I finally went with a yorkie friendly home...all porcelain tile.

All yorkies can have issues with housebreaking...sex of the pup does not matter!
