I had trouble with this because my computer is also my company laptop so I couldn't download the camera software. I got an SD card reader that plugs into one of the USB ports instead. No software to download, works kinda like a memory stick and it lets me download to any computer with a USB port. The card reader only cost me $10, is about the size of a matchbook so I can just throw it in my purse, and is worth every penny I paid for it.
