I don't do any exercises with her and since she is so far along, she really doesn't want to do much but lay around anyway. One week for them is like 1 month for us.
Yes, I do have experience whelping litters. In her last week, I'll give her a calcium suppliment to help prevent eclampsia and will continue the calicum suppliments while she is nursing.
Is this your first litter? |
Yeah its my first litter so I am super excited. I am just nervous, I guess. Every little thing sends me into panic. I didnt sleep last nite casue I noticed her breath is getting deeper and she was getting out of breath after a game of fetch, and that worried me. But then I guess your right she is 3 months pregnant by human standards and running around would make a 3 month pregnant women gasping for air. I guess all the horror stories you read here about not breeding has made me more worried than I probably should be.
