Hi, Have not read the other posts yet but will. Just had to tell you what happened here in Spokane, Wa. It was on the news that a owl picked up a small dog, not a Yorkie but bigger, and took off with it. The master had him on leash and held on and run after the owl. The owl dropped the dog, she then rushed her baby to vet. He is okay now. We have a big yard here in the country and fenced. We will always keep our Penny, Yorkie, on leash as much as she wants to run. We have a lot of hawks and even last summer had a couple redtail hawks hanging around. They are after our quail. They are as big as our eagles. They were fighting and boy were they big. We also have coyotes but Penny is never out without us and we have had cougar sightings. The hawks are what scare me as they are right in our yard and not scared of us.
