Good job on keeping it upbeat. I know how hard it is sometimes when we miss our loved ones so much. We were told back when our son first deployed to not ever give him any bad news from home. He is serving on a submarine in confined conditions and the military cannot afford their personnel to re-act to bad news. All email we send and receive is read first by command for security reasons. The Navy has their own protocol for giving bad news I guess. Fortunately we feel blessed that we haven't had to use that protocol.
