Oh yea and get a dog or two or even 8. No really, after Jess left my granddogger with me for a few weekends. I started missing her sooo much that my husband told me you should get you another dog. My poodle Keisha passed away at the age of 16 during our ordeal with Jess's wreck. My mom kept Keisha with her 24/7 because Keisha never did travel very well. So after weeks of research, I found my Joey, after a few months he needed a playmate, along came Cabella. Then by accident, we had six puppies. Little stinkers got together a week before Joeys snip was to take place. Thank goodness Cabella was over a year old when we got her!!!! I know your son is still home and think its a great idea to change her room. It will take a long time to get use to one less person being there. Perhaps you can take up a hobby and everytime you start missing her go to the hobby. Over time you can see your results instead of just having hours of wondering around suffering from empty nest syndrome. Just a thought.
And thank you, Jess is truly amazing. She never once said why me, There was a 17 year old young man in the backseat that didn't make it. She has had more trouble trying to deal with losing a friend than thinking of herself. I am truly blessed to have her as my daughter. I learn alot from her. |
