Hey guys,
So normally Chuchi goes to sleep, I leave him in his crate in his room, close the door, he wines for about 5 - 10 minutes sometimes but then calms down and he stays there until 7 or 8. If he really needs to go to the bathroom before then he barks, I wait a bit, take him out and he does his thing.
Today, he woke up around 445 AM barking. I figured, poor guy, took him across the street to the park for 10 minutes, he didnt do anything so I took him back to his crate, told him very good and tried to go back to sleep.
He started to whine and bark again, which the neighbours don't seem to appreciate (nor do I, I wanted to go back to sleep). I went back in his room, let him out, picked him up and held his mouth shut (which I was told teached dominance and he has been quiet for about 15 minutes now).
My question is, why was he whining/barking? And what can I do to teach him against this beyond what I am doing?

Thanks!
Aron
