Your yorkie sounds suburban. My daughter lives in Manhattan. When I visit, I am amazed at the skilled, well behaved dogs that are on the street. They manage to dodge people without getting their tiny feet stepped on. They are aloof to strangers and never take their eyes off their owners.
I have a very friendly guy too. He hasn't visited the big apple yet, but when he does it will be in his purse.
