Buy and expen , makes it easier... put his crate in there with the door open with a bed in it.. toys , food ect.. maybe he will get used to it that way!! I was a big failure at CRATES 101 , I felt to bad , I like the expen.. even today if I put it up she doesnt mind it at all!! They are great to have for going to friends cookouts, the beach etc..
