What setting do you all typically use for your puppies (heating pad setting is what I am talking about)? I have a blanket over it and have it set on medium because low never sems to warm through the blanket...but am I dong this wrong, too? |
If I use a heating pad with puppies I put it on low or medium. I only use it for the first couple days till I know they are gaining and doing well. The mom will pant quite a bit if you have a heating pad under her. Just make sure the room is not to hot. Try turning it to low and checking in on them. if they feel warm then try turning it off for a bit. If your house is kept warm you shouldn't need to have them on a heating pad for long.
