I have heard that raccoons are really clean animals, so they don't like places that seem to be soiled.....perhaps you could use the trick we have for keeping opossums out of the trash? We squirt household ammonia on the bags....you could use rags soaked in ammonia and arrange them around the places you have seen the raccoons.
