Well this morning about 7am I was looking out our garden room windows and I saw not one but two raccoons in our yard. One raccoon ambled by about 2 feet from my patio door. The other was walking on top of the fence.
this is the first time I've seen them here although I know that there are plenty in our downtown area.
Our garbage is kept in well sealed raccoon proof bins as is our neighbours -city issued containers designed to foil these critters.
I've not heard of a deterrent for raccoons - perhaps some1 on YT has?
I 'm worried for all of our dogs - threat of rabies - while the big dogs can probably take care of themselves - our Razzle would be at risk and the one most likely to go barking after a raccoon.
If someone has any suggestions I'd be thankful
