I tried flint river ranch, the one that you can add water to. to make a gravy.. and my dogs liked it ok and they did fine on it but it was pretty expensive for what it was. You can buy foods with better ingredients for a lower price, but I also stick to the theory that if your dog likes it, eats it and does well with then they feed it!!
